| This was my upgrade afew months ago.... cpu: I7 950 overclocked to 3688mhz m/b: gigabyte ex58-ud5 h/drive: ocz vertex series turbo 60gb gpu: 2 * 8800gts overclocked + sli mem: 6gb corsair ddr3 @ 1920mhz cooler: noctua cpu cooler with 2*120mm fans  running stock i get a 3dmark06 score of around 19000. overclocked to 4 gig gives me a score of over 24000 with a clean instal of win7. I am waiting for a ati 5970 to drop from the skyes to complete the system and also a new pair of ssd drives to give more speed with more storage, but thats 2 months away ready for bc2   [img][img]http://i12.servimg.com/u/f12/14/72/62/91/ss[url=http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=5&u=14726291]  d_sp10.jpg[/img][/url][/img] _________________

| As Chook can atest, I had a pig of a machine, now running Q6600, 4g kingston 1066mhz ram, EVGA GTX260 core 216, thermaltake 850w psu, G15, G5 2142 limited edition samsung syncmaster 1080 p 2333, 5.1 through my philips LX 700

| waiting for what nvidia do with the gtx300's befor i upgrade, a I7 is a waste till you really know what it will do |

| Yeah same here, might look at a cpu and mobo upgrade soon though. P55's and the new dual cores look alright, and overclock really well. |
