steam steam steam. give me a disk i can buy. I know the game was in the last patch but i dont buy online through anyone. I think they stuffed this up big time. EB games has no info on release to them and im starting to think it's an online thing only.

The game should have been released with the latest patch update to make re-install painless too.

There is no game to buy. It's a code you get thats it. Order it from EA.com they send you an email and you input the code.

Why not? You already have the game (it came in the last patch) just pay the $19 for the code and enjoy.

I dont like it either mate - too much digital download. I just think there are too many chances for things to go wrong. Just because its the way everything is going - doesnt mean its for the better. Take Medal of Honor for example - I got that via digital download, and now Ive paid $80 bucks for a game I cant use. I know I might be the only one having the issue, but the point is, I paid upfront and cannot now use something ive paid for.

BUT - with Vietnam, I actually love the way theyve released it. As Evil said...... the possibility for trouble is gone. Youve already downloaded the add on, buried within the last patch. Its on your PC safely and it cant be deleted.

Now all you have to do is pay a little bit of money for the unlock code.

And as for PC disaster stories where all data is lost - with all the Vietnam data being inside the patches for BC2, you can re-download them from anywhere (for free) and effectively get the game again. All you need to do is retype your vietnam unlock code, which you can write down on a piece of paper and keep.

LOL yeh I'm the same mate. I DL 2142NS through EA but it worries the shit out of me when I need to go find it that it's not going to be there. But it is the way most things are going now..
